London Vocational Ballet School are delighted to be returning to the Lilian Baylis Theatre, presenting Forces of Nature, an evening of diverse works curated by LVBS's Artistic Director Louise Bennett and performed by our talented dancers. Inspired by the beauty, strength and power of the natural world, the performance will celebrate our forces of nature - the young artists of LVBS.
The evening will include new works by Daniel Davidson, Bim Malcomson, Miguel Altunaga, Louise Bennett, Georgina McDermott, Megan Webster-Shaw, Brook Ogle, Patricia Okenwa, and the school's Founder and Honorary Patron Anna du Boisson OBE, alongside a revival of Louise Bennett's Flora, created for National Youth Ballet in 2019. This year also sees the introduction of the LVBS Young Choreographer Award, which supports a student to create and present a work, under the guidance of an industry professional. The evening promises to be a rich display of sparkling technique, ingenious creativity and beautiful ever-developing artistry!
