Georgina is a highly experienced dance teacher and mentor with a distinguished background in classical ballet and professional performance. Born in East Yorkshire, she moved to London at the age of 16 to train at Central School of Ballet, graduating with a Diploma in Classical Ballet. Her performing career includes work with leading English and European ballet companies, where she danced principal and soloist roles in productions such as A Simple Man (Gillian Lynn), Flowers of the Forest (David Bintley), Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Sleeping Beauty. She also appeared in various productions of Anna Du Boisson’s Peter Pan, an experience that sparked her growing passion for teaching and mentoring young dancers.
Inspired by her professional journey, Georgina transitioned into teaching, bringing industry-level expertise, artistic integrity, and genuine care to her students. In 2007, she became Ballet Coach for the West End production of Billy Elliot, supporting the lead roles of Billy Elliot and Mrs Wilkinson and helping performers achieve outstanding technical and artistic standards.
Today, Georgina is deeply committed to nurturing young dancers and shaping the next generation of performers.
She delivers a BTEC in Performing Arts (Dance Pathway) at London Vocational Ballet School, where she also serves as Head of Jazz and Musical Theatre, Year 6 Ballet Tutor, and Associate Course Director. In addition, she is Assistant Director and Designated Safeguarding Lead for the West London School of Dance, as well as an innovative and enthusiastic choreographer and rehearsal director across both institutions.
Known for her warmth, professionalism, and dedication, Georgina creates a supportive, inspiring learning environment that empowers students to grow artistically, technically, and personally.
