Isabelle trained at English National Ballet and has since celebrated countless inspiring performance opportunities around the globe in groundbreaking classical and contemporary works, including Pina Bausch’s Rite of Spiring. 

She was selected as a finalist for the Emerging Dancer Competition in 2015, 2016 and 2017, after which she was promoted to First Artist, toured across the globe, most notably at the Paris Opera and the Bolshoi Theatre, and worked closely with illustrious choreographers including Akram Khan and William Forsythe. 

 

As an avid and active advocate for the transformative impact dance has on society, she collaborated with artistic charities Anno’s Africa and OneFineDay to deliver ballet workshops in slum communities in Kenya, and extending this the following year through collaborations with the French Cultural Institute in Brazzaville, Congo, to organise African dance and ballet exchange workshops and performance platforms. 

 

Under Tamara Rojo’s leadership, Isabelle was honoured to be elected as ENB’s 2021/22 Dance Leader of the Future, a unique platform to develop and form the future leaders of artistic institutions, and since attended the Developing Leadership Practice and Impact and Influence courses at the Cranfield School of Management. 

 

As an avid aficionado of London and the UK’s kaleidoscopic theatre and arts scene, she has also developed a love of writing through her post as a part-time writer and reviewer with the Dance Europe publication. 

Additionally, Isabelle completed a Diploma in Sports Nutrition and Sports Psychology via Stonebridge College, and was honoured to have obtained the Rising Leaders Fellowship at the Aspen Institute UK in February 2023.
