Megan Webster-Shaw trained in classical ballet at West London School of Dance and The Arts Educational School in Chiswick, before continuing her studies at The English National Ballet School and The National Ballet School of Canada. After two years training in Toronto through the NBOC IDP apprenticeship program, she eventually returned to London to gain her teaching qualifications with The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

 

Megan was one of the founding teachers at the inception of the Young Dancers Academy alongside Kerry Williams and Anna du Boisson, and continues at The London Vocational Ballet School in the role of Vocational Dance Lead for the Junior School (Key Stage 3).

 

Megan has 18 years of experience working with young people and is deeply committed to supporting her students in pursuing their dreams and ambitions. Nurturing healthy, happy and resilient young dancers is at the core of every lesson. As a parent to two boys, she values clear communication, high standards, and a good sense of humour! Having gained her Level One certificate in Lynne Charles' 4Pointe method, she joined the Associates team at The English National Ballet School and currently teaches there on Saturdays.
