Patricia Okenwa
Dance Teacher(Contemporary and Associate Course)

Patricia Okenwa currently teaches Contemporary Dance at Tring Park School, London Vocational Ballet School and LVBS associates, Classical Ballet at WLSD, and has been a guest teacher at Rambert School, London Contemporary Dance School, Dance City, Central School of Ballet, Royal Ballet School and Urdang Academy. She has been a company guest teacher for Rambert, Michael Clarke Company, Protein and English National Ballet, and a mentor for young choreographers at the Royal Ballet School and is a course master for Choreography at the Architectural Association Interprofessional Studio.
Patricia trained at Rambert School and the John Neumeier School of the Hamburg Ballet. Her professional career includes being a company member of Rambert where she created Hydrargyrum in 2016 for the repertoire, and being a founding member of New Movement Collective (NMC) focused on Interdisciplinary, site specific work. In January 2024 She co-created and performed Les Noces - The Departure at Woolwich Works.
Patricia's choreographies include Watch Me for Trinity Laban BA3 graduation performance 2024, The Messiest Drawer for Fertile Ground 2024 and far and near are all around at Dance City 2024, the opera short film Ariadne for English Touring Opera 2021and Stabat Mater for B-Motion Festival, Italy 2017 and TheaterFestival Boulevard, The Netherlands 2018, SDS 2019 and 2023. Patricia has collaborated on VR and AR digital art, movement directed in Torn at the Royal Court Theatre and Marty and the party for Milk Productions and is a Jivamukti and Yin Yoga teacher with experience in perinatal, baby
yoga and yoga for all.
