Shumaila Farooqui is an accomplished senior finance leader and Fellow of the ACCA with over 15 years of experience supporting organisations across the arts, healthcare, charity, and international business sectors. She brings a strong track record in financial strategy, business partnering, and organisational transformation, with a particular passion for strengthening financial sustainability in mission-driven institutions.

Before joining London Vocational Ballet School, Shumaila served as Head of Finance at the British Ballet Organization, where she worked closely with trustees and senior leadership to enhance financial planning, modernise reporting, and support the organisation’s growth. Her background also includes key finance roles in leading UK organisations such as Excelcare, SH:24, and London Medical, as well as senior positions in Oman with Ernst & Young and Suhail Bahwan Automotive Group.
