Ballet Training in London
Spring Steps is a four-day Easter Intensive designed for young dancers who want to develop their technique, creativity and artistry in a professional vocational ballet environment. Taking place during the Easter holidays, the course offers focused training led by a renowned choreographer at our studios in West London.
Running from Monday 7th to Thursday 10 April 2026, Spring Steps takes place daily from 10am-4pm. The intensive is open to both Junior (ages 9–12) and Senior (ages 13–16) dancers and is suitable for students who are already training in ballet and looking to deepen their skills and confidence.
A Focused Easter Intensive for Committed Young Dancers
Spring Steps is carefully curated to support young dancers in strengthening their classical technique while also exploring contemporary movement, creativity and performance. Over the four days, students will work on technical foundations, musicality and expressive movement, while developing physical strength and coordination. Curated by London Vocational Ballet School’s Artistic Director Louise Bennett, the course gives students the opportunity to collaborate closely with a choreographer and take part in the creative process, culminating in the learning and performance of a brand new piece of choreography.
Vocational Training in a Supportive Environment
At London Vocational Ballet School, training is rooted in high standards, encouragement and individual attention. Spring Steps reflects the ethos of the school’s full-time vocational programme, offering students a realistic insight into vocational-level expectations while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
The course is open to non-LVBS students and is ideal for dancers who are considering vocational pathways or who would benefit from focused holiday training to maintain momentum and motivation.
Informal Sharing for Family and Friends
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend an informal studio sharing at 3pm on Thursday 10thApril, where students will showcase what they have been working on throughout the week and perform the newly created choreography. This sharing offers a relaxed opportunity to celebrate the students’ progress and achievements.
Course Details and Fees
Spring Steps runs from 7th - 10th April 2026, with daily sessions from 10am - 4pm at London Vocational Ballet School in West London. The full course fee is £399 + VAT per student. Places are limited to ensure high-quality teaching and individual guidance throughout the week.
